This version of CTcue contains a number of new functionalities, improvements and various bug fixes. Below you will first find a brief overview. Below that, you can read the extended release notes with more detail about some of the main changes in this version.
Features
- New fields have been added:
- For appointments "Service provider" (service_provider_name)
- For medication requests "Specialism of prescriber" (prescribed_by_specialism) and "ZI number" (zindex_nr)
- For medication administration "Specialism of administrator" (administered_by_specialism) and "ZI number" (zindex_nr)
- For surgery procedures "Primary procedure" (primary_procedure)
Improvements
- We've updated the default search for ‘age at time of event’ filters to make it faster and so that it works for term preview
- The label ‘report date’ should be shown consistently. In some cases we would show the old translation ‘start date’
- Age-at-time-of-event filters are now faster
- Implemented support for age-at-time-of-event statistics in term preview
- Term preview support for relative date filters and age-at-time-of-event filters has been added
- The English (GB), German, Italian, French and Czech translations have been updated
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where "cleared results" would not export the "nothing is found label"
- Fixed issue where the "customized result no longer found" would remain visible after switching between questions. In addition, if customized results are actually missing (due to relative date changes, or updates to patient data), this will now not fall back to the top result
- Fixed issues for projects with data validation enabled:
- Copies of questions with relative dates would filter out each others documents (thus getting incorrect results)
- Adding a created result and then using relative dates against this result would sometimes require a "hard refresh" to see the updated results.
- Fixed an issue where Patient information category works for search, but shows "No results found" for validation. Searching for patient information now always shows the results, we'll re-iterate how we show the demographics in the future.
- Fixed an issue where 0 as an age wouldn't be stored correctly
- Fixed an issue with project collaboration "data validation" edit rights
- The report snippets are (again) always visible. We have added a disabled state so it's less confusing and prevent disabling by accident.
Extended release notes
Below is a more detailed overview of some of the bigger or impactful changes in this version.
New data fields available
We have now made the following new data fields available:
- For appointments: “Service provider” (service_provider_name)
- For medication requests: “Specialism of prescriber” (prescribed_by_specialism) and “ZI number” (zindex_nr)
- For medication administration: “Specialism of administrator” (administered_by_specialism) and “ZI number” (zindex_nr)
- For surgery procedures: “Primary procedure” (primary_procedure)
You will find these fields listed when adding the mentioned terms to your criteria or questions. The ZI number (only available in the Netherlands) is listed under the header ‘medication details’. The other fields can be found under the header ‘general’.
Term preview updates
Term preview is a popular feature to check possible results for specific terms before performing a full search for the entire query. This allows users to finetune their query to make sure they get the results they are looking for. We have now taken the next step to improve the possibilities for term preview by changing the way calculations are handled in the backend.
With these changes we could now make the following options available in the term preview modal:
- Use age-at-time-of-event filters
- Use relative date filters
You can add these filters while previewing the selected term in the patient finder or data collector and modify them as you see fit. The sample results in the preview will update as soon as you modify the filters.
