This version of CTcue contains a number of new functionalities, improvements and various bug fixes. Below you will find a brief overview of this major release and some minor releases for v4.9.0.
Improvements
- The experimental category “reports plus” now processes reports on demand. This means artificial intelligence augmentation is available for all reports. It is also no longer needed to request report processing ahead of time using the AI processing modal, which has therefore been removed. On-demand report processing is slower, so be sure to keep this in mind when using it. This feature remains experimental for now, so we can test the functionality and performance in real-life scenarios before making it widely available. For more information about this functionality (in Dutch), click on the following links to read more about reports plus itself, context interpretation, AI assisted search and our AI feedback functionality.
- Note that the confidence percentages of the reports and concepts categories have been restyled to appear similar to the reports plus confidences.
- We have expanded the scheduling options for scheduled search and show when the next scheduled search will run.
- Users whose accounts have expired or are nearing expiration will now receive email notifications. Notifications will be sent 14 days prior to the expiration and on the day itself.
- A year-long history of data collector questions is now stored as a snapshot and is available for review in the audit logs. The audit event is called “snapshot created” and can be found under the Project events. For more information on audit logs (in Dutch), click here.
- Repeating events questions can now be exported with SQL connectors.
- The support modal can now find and link FAQ articles in the new IQVIA support system (Salesforce CSH) when we make the switch to the new system.
- We have added an indication that term preview counts are approximations.
- Deactivated admin accounts are now automatically removed from the administration email recipients list.
- It is now possible to choose the row delimiter when exporting CSVs, in addition to still being able to choose the column delimiter. This should help if you import the data into MSSQL
- The synonyms modal has been simplified and it is now possible to configure which languages of synonyms appear in it
- If you add the measurement source column, we will now export the
report_id
(reference to the document if applicable) andmeasurement_source
that is displayed in the client - The Czech user interface translation has been updated
- Import question now supports the same keyboard shortcuts as importing terms
- The concept category is now deprecated. It will be removed in a future release
- Study identifiers are now included in every sheet of exported files
- Reports plus terms now show whether AI-assisted search is enabled and with which confidence buckets in the patient finder criteria
- Various design and styling improvements
- Various performance improvements
Data updates
- The medication request category has a new field: “initial fill”. This field can be added to your views as a column.
Bug fixes
- We have fixed several issues with the repeating events question type introduced in version 4.8.0:
- Correctly display relative date information in repeating events sub-tables
- Fixed an issue that caused the nothing-found answer label to be exported when there are results for repeating events related
- Fixed an issue that caused no results to be shown when navigating between repeating events related questions
- We no longer export CSV files/Excel sheets for repeating events related questions that don't have results
- ‘Must not have all’ groups are now correctly implemented in the patient finder. These groups were previously treated the same as ‘must not have any’ groups
- It is now possible to do an "organisation login" without setting any role mappings. In that case, a hospital admin will have to assign all permissions within CTcue itself
- When editing a created result the changes are now visible right away
- Pressing up/down keys in the date input is smooth again
- We fixed an issue where searching for "mannen in leven" (Dutch) would incorrectly show the filter being "Living/deceased" when it should display only "Living"
- If you switch your export choice from "patient cohorts" to "data collection" we would mark your export for deletion. This is now fixed, so you can still download your previous file
- We fixed an issue with importing synonyms from another report (or form) term
- We fixed navigation, with an active filter, between patients in question preview
- Fixed an issue in "add term" where collapsing a group would actually import the group
- Fixed a rare crash that occurred during the deletion of project versions
- Fixed an issue that caused the date filter value to be discarded when changing operators
- We no longer reload the full data validation table when reordering questions
- Change default user preferences language from en to en-US. The en language no longer exists
- Fixed an issue with filtering by user status in the administrative section
- Fixed an issue that prevented the questions list from being loaded when trying the make a relative date filter in the data collector
- Fixed an issue that caused the 01-01-1900 date to be exported as 01-02-1900 in Excel sheets
- Fixed the empty state message for single patient question detail
- Fixed an issue that prevented the data validation table from showing its loading state in certain conditions
- Fixed an issue that caused completed jobs to be marked as cancelled
- We now allow generating magic links for users to login with, even when emails cannot be sent
- Fixed an issue that caused questions to be exported to connectors out of patient finder projects
- Fixed an issue that prevented input text from being cleared when a dropdown lost focus
- Fixed an issue where no questions would show up in our bulk date filter dropdown at the section level
- We no longer show pagination shortcuts when there is only 1 page
- Fixed an issue where collapsing a group on the import term screen was not collapsing but adding the group to the query. Now it is collapsing correctly.
- We have fixed an error that could occur while loading or exporting the data validation table
- String values in exported CSV files are now quoted consistently
- The "change your search limit" link works again
- Prevent the application from crashing when the CTcue Hub is down
- Fixed an issue that occurred when previewing project version previews. If you navigate away from the patient finder criteria page and come back, it will cancel your version preview consistently.
- Prevent created result from appearing in results for question that depends on repeating events question
- Fixed an issue that caused "no more filters" empty state to appear incorrectly
- Fixed incorrect search results for duplicated and imported projects
4.9.1
- Fixed an issue that, in the patient finder, caused results for any report term to be highlighted in all report terms' results
4.9.2
- We made the potential patient count consistent between search job and criteria count
- The created result no longer appears for all event-based results
- Custom answer options of questions that (indirectly) depend on repeating events questions are now copied correctly when duplicating a project
- Repeating events questions are now exported in the order in which they appear in the browser
- We no longer show the group filter in the patient columns on the patient cohorts page
- We now allow audit snapshots to be filtered by their projects
- Customized reports plus results can now be filtered by their confidences instead of the original results' confidences in the data validation table
- Categories are now consistently ordered alphabetically
- Account menu is closed when clicking on a link to the current page
- Prevent rendering HTML in some names/titles that users can customize
- Preserve question validations when disabling and re-enabling questions
- Copy combined columns when duplicating projects or questions
- Fixed issues with combined columns using parent/nested category fields
- Default to the other gender in case a gender is missing from the patient data
- We no longer allow comments consisting only of HTML, which is removed when rendering
- Reports plus and concept fixes (experimental features):
- We changed the "dots" coloring of regular reports / concepts AI processing (experimental feature). We aligned them with the new reports plus feature so they look and behave coherent
- You can now customize the report plus "concept" columns
- Reports applicability filter and confidence percentages: We always show the
%
which is consistent with regular report search - Fixed an issue where report plus concepts would not be visible in term preview right away after toggling the AI processing button
4.9.3
- Fixed two related problems that incorrectly caused the patient finder to find 0 patients when there is a report plus term with AI assisted search turned on or a report term with text processing turned on. Specifically:
- Demographics terms in exclusion or must not groups caused 0 patients to be found
- Disabled terms in exclusion or must not groups caused 0 patients to be found
